Do I need to provide house cleaning equipment?
Clean Maids supplies all of the cleaning supplies to complete the job. You never need to worry about supplying any of your supplies to our maids. If you have any special cleaning products you want us to use, please be sure to let us know prior to your cleaning.
Do I have to be home when clean maids clean?
This is your option, most of our customers are usually not home during the day. You may give us a key to be safely stored - always with cross referenced security. Only the owner or office manager can access the client key safe. Maids are given the keys for each cleaning appointment before they leave and must turn these back to the owner or office manager before they are allowed to leave the office. The keys are then returned to the key safe until the next cleaning appointment.
Will all the visits cost the same?
The first visit will be at our Deep Clean rates. Generally, it takes longer to get the home up to Clean Maids standards. The Deep Cleaning rates are a flat rate, however in the rare event additional services are needed, additional charges may apply.
Once the initial visit has occurred, your home can be maintained easier and you will receive our standard cleaning rates. Once we have completed the first visit we will confirm the standard rate with you.
How do I know I can trust your staff?
Clean Maids takes the utmost care in attracting the best talent in the industry. All prospective applicants must pass an extensive background check before they are employed with Clean Maids. Once hired each maid is trained personally by one of the owners and we promote based on evaluations given by our customers. We are also fully bonded and insured. We take your trust seriously so that you will have the highest confidence with our care for your home.
How shall I pay for my cleaning?
We accept cash, checks and all major credit cards. Payment is due at time of service. If you do not plan on being at home at the time of service, you can leave cash or check on the kitchen counter the morning of your cleaning. If you pay by credit card, we will keep your credit card information on file at our office and charge your card once after each cleaning. There is a $25 fee assessed for all returned checks.
What should I do with my pets during the cleaning?
Please let Clean Maids know if you have pets and provide information that would be helpful to us. Certain types of dogs, especially large dogs, should be confined, locked away or removed from the premises. We prefer all pets to be restricted from the areas we clean, to allow us to clean your home more efficiently.
Are my valuables safe with Clean Maids?
We are a trusted family owned and operated business and take great care in the homes we clean, we are also fully insured and bonded. If you have any special items or valuables, please put them away or instruct us not to clean them.
Do I have to do anything before you come?
Generally speaking, no. However, we ask you to take a minute to pick up any important documents or personal items.
What if my cleaning falls on a holiday?
If your scheduled cleaning falls on a major holiday we will contact you to reschedule your service.
Do you guarantee a day and time for my appointment?
We do guarantee a specific day but cannot guarantee a specific time. Although we try our hardest to get to the appointment on time, due to our ever changing schedule please allow a 30-60 minute window period.
What if I need to reschedule a cleaning?
Just call Clean Maids prior to your cleaning day to reschedule. We do require 36 hours notice to reschedule your cleaning. Since we do not overbook our schedule, we need proper notice so we will have an opportunity to fill the schedule with another client.
What should I do about my alarm system?
If you have an alarm system, please make sure arrangements to give Clean Maids access to your home are made. Some clients establish a temporary code for Clean Maids.
